The Executive Signature variant begins at RMB 422,800, or RMB 314,800 through BaaS. The BaaS model separates battery costs from vehicle purchase, allowing buyers to lease battery capacity monthly rather than purchase the pack outright, reducing upfront capital requirements.
NIO's decision to offer a five-seat option reflects market segmentation within the premium EV segment. Removing two rear seats creates approximately 28 cubic feet of additional cargo space compared to the seven-seat model, targeting buyers prioritizing utility over maximum passenger capacity.
